State Director Women's Ministries
Upon graduation from O’Keefe High School in Atlanta, Georgia she attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee where she met Don and they were married a few years later at the Hemphill Avenue Church of God (now Mount Paran Church of God). After these more than 47 years, following her husband’s ministerial assignments, Jackie is very pleased to be back home in Georgia, the state of her birth.
For 18 years she was professionally involved in Youth & Christian Education ministries in six states and served as State Secretary & Treasurer in four states. Her background includes former positions such as – secretary to the General Overseer, member of the Int’l. Board of Women’s Ministries, member of Operation Compassion Task Force, Executive Secretary to Int’l. Women’s Ministries, Executive Secretary to the President of the Church of God Theological Seminary, Development Department of Northwest Bible College, State Director of Women’s Ministries for 14 years, member of the Church of God Sunday School Task Force, member of DIAP division of the Association of Theological Schools, and Director of Development at the Church of God Theological Seminary. She currently serves as State Director of Women’s Ministries for North Georgia.
She has written Sunday School curriculum for Pathway Press, a contributing author for the Evangelical Sunday School Lesson Commentary and other denominational leadership manuals, author and editor of the State President’s Manual for Women’s Ministries and has authored numerous articles and publications. She has received many denominational awards for excellence in leadership and in fund raising.
She is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, a member of the Board of Directors for RCMA (Religious Conference Management Association) and she arranges and conducts conventions and conferences nationally and internationally. She serves as a consultant for meeting and event planners. She is a popular lecturer and motivational speaker.
