North Georgia Summer Celebration Camp Meeting

It is with great excitement that we anticipate our upcoming 2012 North Georgia Summer Celebration State Camp Meeting starting this coming Sunday, June 3rd.  Our theme is Moving to the Next Level.  Summer Celebration 2012 is going to be an outstanding time for spiritual engagement.  This year we will convene two regional and one statewide camp meetings:  Buford Church of God, June 3-5; Church at Liberty Square Church of God, Cartersville, June 6-8; and our Statewide Reunion Camp Meeting, August 26 at the Hiawassee-North Mount Zion Church of God.

Every minister is encouraged to attend and every pastor in each regional area is encouraged to bring their congregation beginning this Sunday night at Buford COG.  You also won't want to miss the 10:45 a.m. sessions at Buford COG on Monday, June 4, and at the Church at Liberty Square on Thursday, June 7.  Administrative Bishop Dr. Michael L. Baker will be addressing the subject of leadership development.

On Tuesday morning at Buford COG and Friday morning at the Church at Liberty Square, we will have a unique and special presentation of "Ministry Highlights" showcasing at each location three successful and productive ministries here in North Georgia.  This will be an outstanding opportunity to see ministry-in-action.  You don't want to miss these important and enriching sessions!

We have a dynamic list of guest speakers lined up for the Summer Celebrations.  On June 3-5 at the Buford COG, the evening speakers are Dr. Wallace Sibley, Secretary General (3rd); Dr. Ramon Cruz, pastor from Honduras (4th); and, Dr. Raymond Culpepper, General Overseer (5th).  Each morning we will hear from a North Georgia minister including:  Kevin Harris, Lawrenceville COG (4th); Tyrone Hutchinson, Lavonia COG (5th); Joe E. Edwards, Church at Liberty Square COG (7th); and Jeff Daws, Stockbridge Community COG (8th).  On June 6-8 at the Church at Liberty Square COG in Cartersville, the evening speakers include Chris Moody, senior pastor, South Cleveland COG, Cleveland, TN (6th);  Jonathan Ziegler, COG evangelist (7th); and Tom Madden, General Director, Youth and Discipleship (8th).  In addition, there will be a Youth Rally following the last evening service at each location.

We are excited about what God is doing in North Georgia.  We look forward to seeing you personally at our Summer Celebrations and we are expecting a mighty move of the Holy Spirit as we unite together Moving to the Next Level!

See you there!
