Saturday, approximately 50 senior adults from across North Georgia gathered for a chili contest and fellowship. We had 14 entries from five different churches. We had quite a variety including a deer chili brought by Pastor Gary Stewart. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs over an open fire and making smores. All engaged in lively games including our eldest attendee who was 87. The fellowship was sweet and new friendships and memories will be cherished for years to come. When everyone was departing comments were heard from many saying they are definitely coming to our next event and look forward to seeing their new friends again.

1st Place - Homer Hall, Stockbridge Church of God
2nd Place - Sue Tallent, Hartwell Church of God
3rd Place (tie) - Doris Register, Conyers Church of God
3rd Place (tie) - Rachel Dodson, Hartwell Church of God
